Bitlocker and a USB device
DCCourion 12.07.2007 18:10:04
I'm trying to setup a 32 bit Vista Enterprise system with Bitlocker turned
using a USB device -

I'm almost there - But I can not get past the below error -

When I set finish setting up the bitlocker, I'm asked to reboot -
When the system reboots it appears to read the USB device but after I log in
I receive the below message -

BitLocker could not be enabled.

The BitLocker startup key or recovery password could not be read from the
USB device. Ensure the USB device is plugged into the computer, then turn
on the BitLocker ans try again. If the Problem persists contact the computer
manufacturer for the BIOS upgrade instructions.

No encryption applied, any changes made to c: during the Bitlocker setup
will be removed-

I'm waiting on feed back - But at this time I believe I have installed the
correct BIOS Upgrade -

Is there anything else I could check out.
