For some reason when I connect the HD the light comes on but Windows doesn't detect it and adds it to the HD list. Is there anything else I need to do. I am logging in as an administrator. Try running 'Add Hardware' under 'Control Panel' and see if that helps. Does that drive come with an installation CD?
