SBS 2003 and external USB Hard Drive
"Teo" <nospamteo[ at ]homsany.net> 13.07.2007 12:18:27
Hey guys,

How do I get SBS 2003 to detect my USB external HD. For some reason when I
connect the HD the light comes on but Windows doesn't detect it and adds it
to the HD list. Is there anything else I need to do. I am logging in as an
administrator.

Thanks much in advance,

Teo

You shouldn't have to do anything special for the server to identify the USB
drive. Try running 'Add Hardware' under 'Control Panel' and see if that
helps. Does that drive come with an installation CD?
