CompanyWeb AutoStart
vanderaalst 06.07.2007 08:32:06
Hi,

After installing a new SBS 2003 Server we encounter the following problem.
When starting IE from a client (WinXP Pro) the startpage is :
http://companyweb
When we change the default startpage to eg. about:blank. it works fine, but
after a reboot the default startpage is again : http://companyweb.

I've checked all policies (domain & grouppolicies) there's no entry for
setting the IE startpage.

Can u help me.

That usually is an issue with Group Policy but since you checked it already,
I would guess that there might some kind of antispyware preventing the
change of the home page

The Assign Applications wizard sets this each time it's invoked (via the
login script).

If you don't want it set, rerun the wizard and uncheck the Internet
Explorer settings option under Advanced for each PC you want unchanged.
