SBS SP2 Auto-Install?
Quilnux 07.07.2007 15:16:00
Does SP2 for SBS2003 run as an auto install of the MU is set to automatically
install updates or, does it just download and require a manual installation?
As I understand there are some service packs that Microsoft keeps the system
from auto-installing. I ask because I would like to do a bit more research of
SP2 before we install it so we can be sure our business applications will
work with it and I need to know if it's OK to leave it in the MU system or if
I should remove it until we are ready to install it. Thanks for your time.

Disregard. The answer is Yes. (Sorry, didn't dig deep enough).

Thanks.

Thank you for your response. We have a few administrators who are familar
with this issue. They are confident that they will be able to successfully
install SP2. I showed them the URL you sent. They stated they are familar
with the procedure and intend on assisting me with it. I thank you for the
information however. Sometimes they do not always tell me these things like
they should.
