Replacing SSL Certificate
jeffhoge[ at ]gmail.com 05.07.2007 16:30:47
I just successfully implemented RPC over HTTPS on my SBS 03 Standard
server. I am able to hit the server via RPC from the outside and
everything is working great. Currently I am using the self-installed
SSL certificate created during the "Internet and E-Mail Wizard".

I would soon like to upgrade to a $18 GoDaddy TurboSSL certificate.
What steps do I need to make to upgrade the certificate? When I go to
IIS, Default Web Site properties, Directory Security tab, Server
Certificate, Replace Certificate, I see 4 different certificates
listed, all with similar names. I would assume that this is where I
will go to update this info, but I'm a little confused about the
process.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Godaddy has complete instructions on their web site for IIS6 instalation.
( Just forget it's SBS for a brief moment )

You do want to make sure that the domain registered contacts email address
are up to date before you pay / request your Cert, as this is where the SSL
request / confirmation emails will be sent by Godaddy. I've had very good
experiences with their CS reps.
