SBS-Outlook web access

Hi everyone, a new user here
I have a xp pro computer via a vpn back to sbs server, when i use outlook
web access via remote web workplace i can see my emails but i cannot open
them, and i cannot change my reading pane. any thoughts ?

Why do you need to VPN or use RWW to access OWA? All you need is an internet
browser such as IE.

Thanks for quick reply but i thought all access back to server had to be
though vpn. i am not sure how to use just ie
