Exmerge is driving me nuts

It ran fine for the longest time.Sometimes after an automated update, I am
not sure which one since I did not check on a daily basis, it started
extracting only specific mailboxes, from specific users in random OU, some
are admins some are users.. the error: “Error opening message
store (MSEMS). Verify that the Microsoft Exchange Information Store
service is running and that you have the correct permissions to log on.
(0x8004011d).

Now what?
