What errors are you seeing in the event logs? Any 53258 around?

Hello John,

Thanks for posting in our newsgroup.

From your description, I know that when you run dcdiag/c command, you get
error " An Error Event occured. EventID: 0xC0002719". If I am off-base,
please don't hesitate to let me know.

Please make me know the following to make the situation more clearly:

1. Do you have additional DC in your SBS network?
2. Where do you run the dcdiag command, on SBS server or addition DC?
3. For what reason do you need for run the dcdiag/c command?

Based my experience, this may be caused by SYSVOL replication failure.
There are many reasons for the error. To find out the root cause we need to
collect more information for deep research. Thanks for your understanding
and cooperation.

Please help me collect the MPS Report on the server you ran the command:

MPS Report

a. Visit
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_DirSvc.EXE to download the file.
b. Run the MPSRPT_DirSvc.exe on the server box.
c. Wait for 10~15 minutes.
d. Open Windows explorer, navigate to
%SYSTEMROOT%\MPSReports\DirSvc\Logs\cab\
e. Send the .cab file directly to v-robeli[ at ]microsoft.com with subject:
39790466-dcdiag problems.

I am looking forward to hear from you.

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Best regards,

Robert Li(MSFT)
