mapping disk in Vista not client
nitoglycerine[ at ]gmail.com 10.07.2007 12:42:00
I have a Vista laptop that I want to map a drive in the SBS2003, when
I use an administrator user to login works fine, but when I try to map
with a mortal, I mean, with a user I receive a extended error.

Where is the problem, Vista or SBS. How to solve it?

What's the system error if using net view \\sbsname from the Vista?

Hi,

I just found the problem but not the complete solution, the clients
are limited to login only on their worksations and on the SBS. When I
let him to login without limitations, is possible to map the drive.

Now I want to know how to limit the users from log on the other
machines and let him to map a drive in a non client machine.

Hello,

Some one here have a idea how to configure to avoid the users to login
in other workstations but let them to map a network drive in their own
(non domain) laptops?

thanks
