Thanks Dave
I have looked at all the settings and everything appears to be fine. I have only just set up the server and am testing for a few weeks so I have only got 3 mailboxes set up. I have sent separate test emails to each of the addresses and all 3 emails arrive ok.
It's puzzling that the event log records an error but then contradicts itself later in the message by saying that download was successful.
