Andy 09.07.2007 21:26:04
I have just set up a customer to use Remote Web Workplace so they can access
there company computers remotely. I know using RDP is not secure! RWW uses
RDP to connect to there computers is this secure since it goes through RWW?

Hi The RDP element is internal... The initial RWW connection is SSL, so
assuming strong password policy you are secure as can be.

'I know using RDP is not secure!' Please explain. In what way is RDP not
secure?

HINT: even the logon is encrypted.

Hi Andy,

FAQs: Is Remote Web Workplace with RDP more secure...
http://www.sbsfaq.com/Lists/FAQs/DispForm.aspx?ID=11

RDP sessions are encrypted (128 bit). Straight RDP sessions are often used
to remotely administor servers (few updates/problems affect port 3389).
