Strange screen rotate problem "John" <John[ at ]nospam.infovis.co.uk> 29.06.2007 17:48:19 Hi Sorry for posting to so many NGs. This is just so strange that I don't know what to do and am looking for any help I can get. A client has reported a strange problem. According to her, she leaned on her Dell win xp desktop keyboard by mistake and some keys were pressed which caused the screen image to rotate 90 degrees. She does not know which keys were pressed. To compensate for rotated image, she has rotated her monitor 90 degrees in the other direction and is working like this at the moment. Does anyone know what may have caused this and what is the solution? Thanks Regards

With NVidia drivers, you can go to the display properties and fix it: right-click desktop, select Properties go to Settings tab and click Advanced on the GeForce tab, select the NVRotate node select Landscape and click OK twice She probably has a hotkey assigned to this function. Most likely to be found in the Display/Advanced option. Click on Start/Control Panel/Display/Setting Tab, Advanced button or it could be an Icon in the control panel specifically for the Video Card you have. It's a feature of her video card, to support using a monitor that works in portrait orientation.
