Slow copy to SBS 2003 KasperCO <kasperCO[ at ]gmail.com> 13.07.2007 11:03:51 Hi, I'm experiencing a problem on a small SBS 2003 network. While copying FROM the server is normal speed - this is not the case when copying TO the server. Just copying a few megabytes can take minutes. The server is a new Dell PowerEdge 840 with Broadcom Extreme Gigabit NIC. Driver version for the NIC is 10.26.0.0 (february 2007). I've tried using autosensed 1Gb connection and forcing it down to 100Full. The server [192.168.1.101] runs DNS and WINS. It points to itself in DNS-settings for for NIC. There are no other protocols installed than tcp/ip on both server and clients. I have tried to disable the policy setting found in http://groups.google.dk/group/microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs/browse_thread/thread/42c17e27ce02075c/791dcd6a30e4de8a?lnk=st&q=sbs2k3+slow+copy+from+the+server&rnum=1&hl=da#791dcd6a30e4de8a - but that didn't change anything. I'm in a dead end here - could anyone provide suggestions? The server does not provide internet access (single nic behind router) - the gateway router does. BR Kasper
