Hello Mcasd,

Thank you for posting here.

From the post, I understand you have an audio device (Inspire 5.1), you
want to know whether you can connect it to your Asus Board with Windows
Vista system. If I have misunderstood the problem, please don't hesitate to
let me know.

We have to confirm 2 points for it: whether the Inspire device is in the
Asus Board Compatibility List, and whether the Inspire device is in the
Vista hardware Compatibility List.

Please check the Vista Hardware Compatibility List here:

Windows Vista Hardware Compatibility List
http://winqual.microsoft.com/hcl/Default.aspx

To check whether the Inspire device is in the Asus Board Compatibility
List, you can contact the Asus support.

If the device is compatibly to Vista and Asus Board, we can connect it to
your system, or else, we can not make it work fine.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If there is anything else I can do for you, feel free to let me know.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)
