Where is the Up a level button in Explorer?
SS <scooby[ at ]doo.com> 13.07.2007 10:26:57
Hi...

Windows Explorer (file manager) no longer seems to
have the Up Arrow button (to go up a level in your
directory tree).

Why on Earth would MS have removed such a useful
button from the bar?

Is there a way to bring it back?

Vista has a better way of doing this now. Look for the little black
triangles in the address bar at the top of an explorer window. Click on
one and you can navigate to any position in the folder tree that you
have traversed.

Correct.

Unknown, but it's a popular question.

Not as yet, but from the address bar you can simply click on the upper level
folder in the path as a quick workaround.
