Gaming with Vista
Jeffrey Gordon 12.07.2007 05:34:00
Hey, I don't really know much about Vista, but I have heared that it's had
problems with games. First off, I'm thinking of purchasing a laptop that
comes with Windows Vista Home Premium. Now, I'm wondering, if the games I'm
going to be playing will work on it. I'm going to playing games such as:
F.E.A.R., Guild Wars, Counter Strike: Source and 1.6, Half Life 2, Age of
Mythology, maybe World of Warcraft and maybe Lineage II. So...Would these
games work with it?

From what I have heard, laptop gaming seems more problematic on Vista than
desktop gaming. I suspect it is because of the custom display chips embedded
into most laptops. If you get a laptop look for good Vista driver support.

Hope that helps!
