Windows Sideshow support for Windows XP - Asus W5fe
fallen 30.04.2007 10:54:02

I have tried to make Windows Sideshow run in Windows XP with no luck.

On Asus W5fe notebook, the Sideshow device in windows device manager is
apparently shown as: PortalPlayer W5fe-5024

Mentioned device can't install device drivers (Vista only I presume).

Is there going to be Sideshow support for windows XP?

Regards,

Sideshow is a Windows Vista on mobile PCs and other hardware device (phones,
media remotes etc) technology.
It is not available on Windows XP.

Windows SideShow is available in Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista
Ultimate, Windows Vista Business, and Windows Vista Enterprise. We have no
plans to support Windows XP.

Thanks,
Dan
