Completely unable to install IIS in add and remove programs JohnAin 01.07.2007 06:14:00 I have been trying to install IIS for 3 days now using the Add and Remove programs feature. 1. I go to Control Panel and call Add and remove programs. 2. I click on the "Windows Components" button and when the list appear I select IIS. It greys because only some components will be installed without manual selection 3. The Install starts and runs untill it's time to copy the 1st file from the SP2 files folder. It says it cannot copy it, but it shows me the file it "cannot copy" as being present. 4. I look in the SP2 files folder in Windows. All the files it needs are there. None of them can be copied by the install procedure I have re-installed SP2 and also copied their files to a CD and tried to use that as an install service. No luck. Has anybody got any idea what I might do next?
