stop access from one ethernet adaptor
"Jason Rivers" <jjj[ at ]jjj.j> 10.07.2007 13:32:45
Hi all,

I have a windows 2003 x64 standard server the system has 3 ethernet adaptors
in it, one connected to our local network, one to our primary ISP and one to
our Secondary ISP.

the system is setup as a VPN Server and an Exchange 2007 server, I have run
through the Security Configuration Wizard, and stopped services that i'm not
going to be using on the server, however the server does not run the windows
firewall because of the security configuration.

on the 2 ethernet adaptors that see the outside world I would only like
exchange and VPN to "poke" through, I don't want the remote desktop, telnet,
filesharing etc to look through these address's

whats the best way to go about doing this? as far as I can see its an all
for one setup, and I can't say what services are allowed on what adaptors /
connections.

thanks in advanced.

Jason
