Hi,
We have any users using laptop in our environment. We plan to use ADMT 3 in a further migration to migrate everything to a new domain but what about offline folders configured on laptop computers ?
How offline folders can be part of migration and available on laptop after migration ?
Thanks

Hello Louis,
Thank you for using newsgroup!
Based on my knowledge, ADMT can migrate user profiles including Offline Files. If the offline files sync fails after migration, we can use a tool called Csccmd.exe to refresh the CSC database by re-pointing the share to the new server. Here are the steps:
1. Download the Csccmd.exe file: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9D467A69-57FF-4AE7- 96EE-B18C4790CFFD&displaylang=en
Note: Csccmd.exe that comes with Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit tools can help us to re-point to the offline folder to the new server. This tool can run on the Windows XP and Windows 2000 clients.
2. It is a command-line tool and you can run this: csccmd /moveshare:\\<oldserver>\<oldshare> \\newserver\newshare
Note: The above command remaps the files in the CSC cache on \\oldserver\\oldshare to the \\newserver\newshare location.
For more information about features and functions of CSCCMD version 1.1, please refer to the following article: 884739: Features and functions in version 1.1 of the Client-Side Caching Command-Line Options command-line tool http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;884739
