DFS-R Common Staging Folder
"Joseph Daigle" <joe.daigle[ at ]sreb.org> 05.07.2007 16:54:30
We are replicating many folders on a server inside one volume. I'd like to
move the staging folders to a different volume. But instead of manually
creating a seperate staging folder for each replicated folder, what would be
the effect of having a single common staging folder for all replicated
folders, as long as they're in the same replication group?

Sorry, not possible - staging folders are discrete to each replicated
folder.

Thanks for clarifying before I tested on a live box. I suspected that was
the case anyway. Although, that does mean it'll be kind of a pain to manage
2x the folders.
