I have to Windows 2003 R2 servers that I am attempting to establish DFS
replication with. No matter what I try I get the following error following
the creation of the DFS target and Replication Groups.
"The DFS Replication service stopped replication on replicated folder Shared
at local path D:\Shared due to Erorr ID: 997 (Overlapped I/O operation is in
progress.). Event ID: 4004"
I have tried disabling backup software and anti-virus software, checked
permissions and recreated the namespace and targets to no avail. I have
searched high and low but can't seem to figure this out. Can anyone help?
