Cluster file system access may be deterring. WK3R2SP2

We have notice that our file system on our cluster has a few hickups like
files not releasing, or not being able to access them and we end up migrating
the volume to another node then they are accessible. Any recomadations?

Are the machines built exactly alike from a software, firmware, and hardware
stand point?

What is your topology? SAN? iSCSI? What? 32 or 64 bit? R2?

Cheers,

The machines are HP DL 380 G4 2003 R2 we are using SAN technology 32 bit R2.

Are you hosting any non-cluster aware Apps in the cluster that need to touch
the files or is all file access external to the cluster? Also, tell me
about you anti-virus config, if any, and if you are doing any real-time
scanning of the folders hosting the files.
