Customizing .MSI (created on Visual Studio 2003) to accept Web Site
hariharan.rajaram[ at ]gmail.com 26.06.2007 08:56:16
Hi All,

I have a requirement like below.

I need to install a web service through setup project which is created
in Visual Studio 2003 to a tagetted web site. Not to the default web
site.

Any Ideas or links.

Thanks.

You can't do this with VS setups. It installs to the web site that matches
your port number, and to the first active site if there are more than one.
This is internal code in the support Dll that you can't alter. I believe VS
2005 is different.
