Hello folks,
The EPG in Vista fails to discover the minor channels (I had to add them) and does not contain correct program information for the digital channels. Only information for analog channels are available.
I wonder if anyone here can tell me how to:
1) Is it possible to do a channel scan like a regular TV, to address the missing channel issue? Doesn't Media Center only needs to look at the PSIP/VCT to get the correct channel line-up? This is much better than going through a data provider, where they feed you channels you may or may not be able to receive.
2) Can media center use PSIP/EVT to build program guide, instead of going through a data provider? It is really frustrating that after adding the minor channels I still can't record them using Media Center, because guide data is wrong.
I am in ZIP 95035 area, and using an antenna to receive over-the-air digital broadcasts.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards,
Sean
