Help!!! Why won't my Vista Home Premium MCE show pictures or video
Adam Hicks (Unisys / Microsoft) 28.06.2007 02:54:01
This is absolutely MADDENING! Whether I have the folder added to 'watched
folders' or not, I see all of the folders and subfolders which contain my
standard JPG images and MPG/WMV movies, but EVERY folder is empy in media
center. Music works fine. I believe Vista MCE uses Windows Media Player 11
to display pictures and video. Could there be something messing with it from
there? I can hop onto Windows Media Player 11 and under 'Library' it sees
all of the pictures and videos, and they all play like a champ, but not in
Media Center.

I need this functionality to work so I can stream the videos and pictures to
my Xbox 360 in my theater room. My media center machine is on a different
set.

If anyone can tell me how to 'reset' Media Center back to defaults and
perhaps Media Player 11 I would probably fly to you and buy you lunch.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
