vista media center ir arnold ford 09.05.2007 07:03:00 how do you skip the ir part of the setup? i was trying to use composite from my camcorder , to show home movies on my laptop. you'd think that media center would do anything that you are inputing in to it. -- my old amiga was better then this

If you're using anything other than a straight coax or Digital Cable Tuner connection, MCE expects to see some type of hardware to control the external set top box. MCE was not intended to capture video from a camcorder or VCR.
