Media Center burn to DVD verrrryyy slow, then fails
Amanda 03.05.2007 19:33:01
Hi, I posted this question in another forum but since it applies to Media
Center, perhaps this is the better place to ask it:
I recorded a TV program, 1 hr, in Media Center, OK worked great. Then when I
choose it inside Media center, it offers the option of burn to CD/DVD, so I
chose
to burn to a DVD. The message comes up, says it could take a few hours, and
to click ok to continue & work in the background. So, OK, I click that but it
has been 5 hours and it still shows only 33% done. Later, after about 5 hrs
it said it is done, but the DVD won't play in my computer, (Media Center
stops responding) or in my DVD player (it just wants to format the disc), or
on another computer also with Media Center. What could this be?
I have Vista Ultimate, P4 processor, and 1G ram.
