Crashes
Loki-uk 04.05.2007 18:16:05

Hi has anyone else had a problem when adding a new folder to the videos
section under MC. My system starts to index the thumbnails then just falls
over. I have this happening on two different systems eactly the same..

Avi's (divx & xvid encoded). It happens a lot, the thumbnails start to be
generetated and then mc crashes. If I open the folder 3 or 4 times and let it
crash out eventually it gets a little further each timer and then it'll open.
It does this pretty much every time.

I forgot if I use the remote and try to naviaget the folder it crashes even
more I generally don't move through the files until MC has completed making
the thumbnails. I use my MC a lot and encode all of my recorded tv using
xvid. but it does it with just about any video file.

Also I have a sample movies folder in my library but I can't delete it do
you know how too. Removing it doesn't seem to do anything it just comes back.
I have even deleted every sample folder off my PC.

What's the fault bucket number in the Problem Reports and Solutions center -
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#bucket
will help you look it up if you aren't familiar with it.

Which DivX/XviD decoder did you install how?
