Well so this is the question, I had a couple of different TV tuners and neither of them could get me any sound at all. It is not that the sound card was not working, because I have every whistle and chime that Vista provides me with, it is that when I select the option to see TV signal, it does not sound anything, even when the visual quality of the image is outstanding.
The tuner I am talking about now is a USB device, so it has no plugs to put anything on it, like a sound cable to the sound card, only the antenna cable one. This problem happens on the Vista Media Center.
My rig:
AMD X2 4200+ Asus A8N SLI 2Gb DDR KINGSTON VALUE RAM XFX 8800 GTS 320Mb Creative X-Fi Extreme Music PCTV Hybrid Tuner Kit for Vista (Vista Certified) Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit
Thanks for everything in advance.

The sound for your TV program does not come from the tuner card it comes from the normal sound card output from your computer. The sound connection on a tuner card is for inputting sound from an STB when you use S-Video input.

Well, yes, it might be as you say, but the problm is that it is a usb device with no other connection but the antenna and the USB to plug on the computer. So what should I do?
Thanks!

You use the sound out from your pc's sound card as I tried to explain to you before. The sound from the antenna connection is connected to your PC and it is output from your PC not from your USB tuner.

So then, are you telling me that if I am using a sound card other than the integrated motherboard soundcard, I will get no sound through a USB tv tunner? That seems kind of logical really, but people like Creative would not be very happy with that. Seriously, there has to be another solution for the problem.
Thanks anyway JW.

If you are using a creative sound card then that is what I mean by your PC sound card. You might check your mixer settings to be sure that sound coming in through you TV tuner is not being muted.
