Alt-tab in PowerPoint 2003 causes BSOD
I have a new Toshiba M400 tablet with an annoying problem: If I Alt-tab
to switch from one presentation to another (or to another app) while
ppt is running, I get a bsod. Doesn't seem to happen with any other
app. Turning hardware acceleration (in Display) all the way off doesn't
help. Anyone know what I can do to fix this? Sounds like a video driver
problem.

Trouble Printing to PDF with PNG files
Hi,
I am a big proponent of PNG files for placing diagrams and other graphics in
PPT presentations, particularly since the alpha channels are supported and
vector-sourced graphics are rendered so well. Well, I have sung the praises
of PNG to my colleagues and now I feel rather guilty because it has caused
some major problems for printing the PPT to PDF.

Converting ppt with hyperlinks to PDF
Hello All,
I wonder if anyone can shed some light on the following dilemma:
I have created a report in Powerpoint which contains a number of hyperlinks
that navigate the user through the document. All of these hyperlinks work
when viewed in PowerPoint but when I convert this file to PDF, the hyperlinks
take me to the incorrect pages (i.e pages other than the ones specified in
the origin...

Proofreading tool for PowerPoint

Ungrouping a table in Powerpoint 2007
Using Powerpoint 2007 I have been unsuccessful in ungrouping a table. The
"group" and "ungroup" tools are greyed out when you select the table. Is
there a way to ungroup tables in this new version as this is a very useful
tool for custom animation?

Object Library
I have written a macro in Excel 2002/XP which uses different MS Object
Libraries (Excel, Office & PowerPoint) and it works fine.
When I save the file in Excel 2003 the references get changed automatically
to version 11 and the file works but when I open the file in Excel 2002
again the Object Library for PowerPoint stays on version 11 all others

Where did design templates in powerpoint 2003 go?
For some reason, I can no longer see the design templates for PPT 2003 in the
task pane. Animation and color schemes still work, and i think the design
templates do too, but I cannot see them - the pane is blank. Any ideas why
and how to fix?...

How can I get my music add-in to stay?
I am working on a presentation and can't get my music to stay in the
presentation once I forward it and open it on another computer. Also, when I
post it in Blackboard, my classmates can't hear the music. How can I fix
this? I need the music to play in the presentation even if the presentation
isn't on the originating computer. The music is on my hard drive which I
copied from my CD....

Scales of embedded graphs
Is it possible to create a macro of some sort to go into every graph in a
presentation and change the min/max values?
I tried recording a macro, but as you may be aware, it fails as soon as I
enter the embedded graph.
Note: I could do this manually but since there are well over 200 graphs...

Random bullet points

Hi,
I have to add a custom footer to every powerpoint document based on an
enviromental variable. This isn't a problem I've got the vb/vba code
to do this. My problem is that I'm not really sure where to put it.

Need help creating trigger animation with VBA
I tried to use the trigger function in Powerpoint 2003 and can not becuase my
objects are overlapped. I then tried to use macros and VBA but I can't get

Preventing accidental slide deletion
I modify a weekly presentation from a template that has content changes on
the same pages on a week to week basis. However, most of the pages are
static. Is there a way to "Lock" the static pages so they wont get
accidentally deleted - like I did this week?...

Screen refreshes continuously
I have some powerpoint presentations which open quite normally on other PCs.
On my specific PC, when i go to certain slides, then it keeps on refreshing
itself continuously. As a result, you are left with no other option but to
wait untill the refreshing has stopped. The whole slide is drawn again and
again which can sometime last upto couple of minutes.
