PPT to Flash or web-based presentation: who's using what...?
So, I need to put up a narrated presentation onto the web and I'm looking at
all the many different options and reading all the reviews.
Flashpoint and Impacta seem to be leading the pack for me right now...

Excel chart animation
I need to animate an Excel line chart with each series to be appear
individually but only one at a time. so first series is displayed on its
own, then second series is displayed on its own without the first etc.

Newbie here with question
Hi!
I've just made my first PowerPoint slide show and am dismayed by the size of
it. Over 21MB! It started at 44MB but I reduced the resolution of my
graphics and compressed them as much as I could without losing too much
quality. Still too big. I make fractals...those are the graphics I'm using.
I've noticed that many PowerPoint slide shows I've seen have large, good
quality graphics...

In powerpoint I need to have bullets 1.1, 1.2 etc like in word
HI
I need to number some paragraphs in powerpoint to be 1.1, 1.2 etc. I have
the option to do this in word, but seem unable to do so in powerpoint. Does
anyone know how I can copy over the bullets/numbers options from word to
powerpoint or how I can make my own customised numbering?

How do I add a wav file in Powerpoint.pps to play over all slides
I have gone into Slide Transitions ............... inserted a wav file in the
appropriate box. Clicked Apply to all slides.
The music does not play.
I can put the same file in from the insert Movies and Sounds menu.
The file only plays on one slide and the pps does not move on....

Editing slide to match sound
Is there any way I can edit a slide and hear the music at the same
time.
I would like to be able to start a file late in the presentation and
hear the music.
Starting a large presentation from the beginning every time I want to
see how the sound goes with the visual is too time consuming.

Excel Chart Document Source
I have a number of presentations with charts that I copied and pasted from
Excel. I now want to go back and add links so that someone viewing the
presentations can click on a link and open up the Excel file that contains
the chart. Is there some way in VBA to get the name of the source Excel file

Using Office Form Textbox control, how to display blank lines?
I've created an Office (PowerPoint) form which includes a textbox. I'm
populating the text box with ... wait for it ... text. I'd like to
separate sentences displayed in the text box by blank lines, but can't
seem to find a way to do that. I've tried appending vbCrLf's to the
displayed text, but what's displayed in the textbox then becomes the
text followed by 2 paragraph symbols (0xB6).

In my presentation, three shapes (call them A, B, and C) are independently
animated to move in position next to each other to make the shape of a fish.

slide show images
i've create a slide show , the images look fine when I open the file, but
when I start to play the slide show the quality of the pictures is gone, they
have a "solorized" look , it is all washed out. i check resolution and set
it to 16 bit but nothing seems to change , what else can i try?...

How do I print in Black and White?
I have a Colour Inkjet Printer and I want to print slides in Black and White
to save the colour ink. In PowerPoint 2007 when I try to do this it still
prints the font in colour. If I try printing it in PowerPoint 97 which is the
other version of Office that I have then it prints it in Black and White.

Why does word perfect keep getting in the way?
I downloaded Microsoft Office 2003 Student and Teacher edition. I want to
create powerpoint slides with Microsoft Powerpoint. When I save the file, it
offers powerpoint 95 and powerpoint 95-97 & 2003, but when I click those
options, it warns me that I might lose some info, yada yada. I save it
anyway. When I go to open it, it's a corel presentations file! Why?? It loses
