Projector without laptop?
Is there a projector that will allow me to run my PowerPoint presentation
without a laptop? For instance, is there such a projector that can run the
presentation from a USB flash drive or something similar?...

putting pp presentations on tv moniter
I am attempting to display a powerpoint presentation using a big screen tv as

Action Settings work on Windows, but not Mac
I have a PowerPoint presentation that I am using as a score board.
It's just one slide with four text boxes on it. I've applied an action
setting to each text box that runs a macro to either increase or
decrease the score of one of the teams when clicked on in slideshow

Powerpoint 2007
I have written a program in VB.NET that connects to Powerpoint. The below
code works when connected to PowerPoint 2000, XP (2002) and 2003, but does
not work in 2007. To test this, I have removed all references to older
versions of PowerPoint ie 9, 10 and 11, and added a reference to Powerpoint

VBA - make view active?
Hello,
The code below works OK except that I would like to show the slide
with this button on it.
I have tried using

but get error message re "its view must be active". How do I make it
active?

Add icon to a listview
Hi EV1,
I have the list of all faceid (icons).
Now, i want to add to a listview in 'lvwReport' view an icon.
How do i do that?
1) Is that the way "MyListViewItem.Icon = ????" , and if it is so, what
do have to write?
2) Do i have to find the path of all those icons?
3) Do i have to copy them to my ImageList?

Translation in PPT
I frequently translate PowerPoint presentations from French or Dutch into
English but I do get tired of having to highlight every slide to change the
language for checking purposes. It is so easy in MS-Word, where 'Select all'
means the whole document. In ppt, it only means the whole slide.
Is there any way of selecting all slides and changing the editing language
overall?

Save as WebPage
Hi,
I'm using Powerpoint 2k on Windows xp. When I try to save a presentation as
a webpage I get an error saying "PowerPoint found an error that it can't
correct. You should save presentations, quit and then restart powerpoint"
The presentation has 17 pages. If I delete all slides but the first 3 it
works. The content of the first 3 slides is no different from the rest of

Getting all the animation icons
Hi EV1,
I wish to create a list of animation and would like to show near the
anmiation name - it's animation icon, for example: path right *****here
is icon of path right***** like shown in the custom animation pane.
But the question is - where are those icon hidden? is it in some dll
file?

making a huge autoshape object
I need to trace a large, complex shape from a detailed state map to create a
single autoshape. To work accurately, I need to enlarge the base so I can
see only part of it at a time. I can't move my position on the base while

Why do I have a black screen when playing movie

Technical Refresh for MS Office Beta 2
After loading Technical Refresh, I can no longer open any files, new or old,
in any of the programs, Word Excel PowerPoint. Was not a problem till the
refresh. running updated Norton antivirus but it does not matter if it is
