Does the send to OneNote powertoy work with IE7 beta?
I can't get it to do so. I get a message to the effect that the send failed
and it could be because the OneNote section is read only. I uninstalled IE7
and now all works well. Perhaps there is a step that I failed to take.
Anyone help?...

MS Doc Imaging- want to copy text from image, but in Japanese?
Hello, I am using Microsoft Office document imaging program to copy the
Japanese text from the image into a word document in order to translate to
English. HOWEVER, in the OCR dialog box- Japanese is not a default language
option. Therefore HOW do I either get the Japanese from the pic to translate
into English or have Japanese as a default language option??

Onenote should let me send screenclips where I choose
I love the ability to import screenclips into OneNote. But this feature
would be much better if it gave me more control over where the clips end up
after I create them. For instance, if I have OneNote open (rather than

OneNote Audio Caching growing out of control?
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but does anyone know how to get around
it? I noticed that after i installed one note and playing aroudn with it,
one note had eaten up almost 10 gb worth of data even though my notebooks are

Re-initiate Onenote 2003 Note Conversion to 2007 Format
Do do I get Onenote 2007 to re-initiate the conversion of One Note files from

How Do I Import PDF files to Onenote
I want to import PDF files into OneNote. I tried using the hyperlink, but
when I then click on the link in ONeNote it acts as though Adobe was opened,
but it just flashes for less than a second and goes back to the OneNote
screen. There has GOT to be some way of importing PDF files as they are
ubiquitous in research material. Without this ability, OneNote is not very
good....

CSimpleImporterClass.import( ) returning before processing is complete
I'm calling the CSimpleImporterClass.import method form within a loop,
where each call imports a .tiff image that can be as small as 70KB or
as big as 300KB. There can be anywhere from 3 to 200 images. When the

When one table is right below a separate table on a page, I want to be able
to select both tables and merge them into one big table such that the rows of

One Note syncs with Win Os but not with Palm, why?
You should also consider making it accessable to other Os systems. I found
only one palm program that had the capabilities of One Note but it did not
have a desktop program. this made it hard to save and edit information
gathered.

Bug in OneNote 2007
Use Search to find a text string in a Notebook - Go to a new page (or
existing page) - Create a table (or use an existing table) - Go to a cell in
the table (either empty or with text) - Press TAB to move to the next cell -
press the ENTER key without typing any text - You will be returned to the
location of the last Text Search.

Cut and paste from Web / Highlight shortcut / Easier titles / Outl
A couple of things I'd like to see changed/added:
* When cutting and pasting from Web pages, OneNote loses the separation
between paragraphs. And because there's no indentation of the first line, the
paragraphs run together and are much harder to read. Can OneNote keep the

Help - OneNote 2007 Beta 2 Ink not working on Tablet
I am running the OneNote 2007 Beta and it is GREAT. However, I am unable to
get inking to work at all with my Toshiba M4 Tablet PC. Word Beta 2007 and

OneNote 2007 should let me search image text in upgraded files.
I want to be able to search the text in all of my old images. These are the
images that are set as background that I imported using the good ol'
OneNoteImageWriter powertoy. I've got thousands of them, so going through
them by hand would be impractical.

OneNote 2007 Beta 2 - Note flag summary problem
