Send to OneNote error
From adobe acrobat, I get "you must have OneNote 2003 SP1" when I try to use
Send to OneNote. I have both OneNote 2003, and the beta version of OneNote
2007 loaded on my computer....

Installation of IE Powertoy
I am using OneNote 2003 sp2. I am trying to install IE Powertoy. When the
installation starts I get a message that "This setup requires the .Net
framework v. 1.1.4322..." I followed the link to install the framework and
only found v. 2 of the framework so I installed it. I still get the same
message, and I can't get it installed. What do I need to do to get this to
install....

Send to ON2007 from IE7

I still can't figure out why Send to ON from IE7 doesn't work properly. If

repeatable bug...
Paste in content from a web page from Firefox. Then hit Control - Home
to get it to the top before you close the Side Note window. It opens a
window using the link on the bottom of the pasted in content. Very
annoying.
I don't like leaving the cursor at the bottom of the pasted data (ON
remembers where the cursor was when you open the new note, so you have
to scroll up to see the beginn...

Section Groups
In OneNote 2007 section groups are ordered alphabetically within any
notebook. Is there any way to reorder them manually?
If no, will this be implemented in future?

higher dpi
I use OneNote on a Tablet PC at 1024x768 resolution. I use OneNote because of
how it lets me organize my files -- but, I have noticed that Windows Journal
lets me get a pen that is (roughtly) one-half the width of the smallest
custom pen in OneNote. (One or two pixels vs. 2 or 3 pixels, it seems.)
Smaller is better when screenspace is at a premium. I'd like to be able to
set my pens in ...

Hyperlinks warnings persist - Lawyers rule M$, common sense loses
Hyperlinking to my own files from Word to OneNote should be allowed.
I get annoying security messages, that appear to not be undisableable.
When I save the .doc file as a .htm file and then click the link in IE,
all is fine.
These warnings are silly and there is no meaningful proof they help
users.
They certainly annoy users.

resetting search on 2007
I had install difficulties with the fast search so turned it off by
setting a couple of registry keys to 0

Send to OneNote 2007 from IE7
When I use the Send to OneNote 2007 addon in IE7, the page is sent but it
loses the formatting, putting a real mess in the OneNote page. Am I doing

Why did my text suddenly get bigger?
Please help!
I must have accidentally hit some hotkey combination or something... The
text size (not the font size) of my notes suddenly got bigger, almost as if
it's zooming in on the notes, and now none of my notes fit entirely within
the screen. How do I change this back?

How do I set default text on reply and forward messages
I am using a auto Signature with my company logo attached on my messages.
For some reason the logo only shows up on messages formatted in Rich Text,
not Plain or HTML. When I hit Reply or Forward for a message I received,
because Outlook automatically responds in the orginal text, my logo doesn't

ON Beta = Insert File As Printout
Very handy feature. I especially like being able to search on text. The
problem is, this is kind of a counter-intuitive way to work (for me). Often
I'm in Powerpoint or some other program I'd like to 'print' to ON. I can do
this - but it doesn't create searchable text. I think the only way to do
that is from Inser/File as Printout - right? Or am I missing something?...

OneNote installer keeps running
For some reason, when I leave OneNote running, I keep getting the Windows
installer running and telling me that it is making configuration changes to
Microsoft OneNote 2007. Then it finishes and tells me that I need to reboot
the computer in order for the configuration changes to take effect.
Does anyone know what it could be doing? I think this is happening pretty
much all the time -...

Email and OneNote 2003
I just received a copy of OneNote 2003. After installing, I cannot get
notes to import into Outlook 2003.
First I can't drag the email icon onto the toolbar...it simply doesn't
show up. Nor is there an Email icon on the toolbar already.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Kudos for some great new features
I've posted several questions/issues here just recently and thought I'd

Safe to delete duplicate audio file after updrade?
I have just upgraded my OneNote 2003 files to the OneNote 2007 Beta. When I
do so, I get duplicate files for all of the audio files that I created as a
recording within OneNote 2003. There is a file in the root directory of the
notebook as well as a duplicate file within a directory called
"root_onefiles".
My audio files are really large and I'd rather not duplicate all of them on
