OneNote 2007 Beta 2 Password Problem
I installed the OneNote2007 Beta 2. It converted my existing OneNote 2003
notebook. One of my sections in 2003 was password protected. When I attempt
to open the section in 2007, I get prompted for a password, but it doesn't
recognize the password. I am entering it correctly. Is this a known issue.
Anything I can do about it?

OneNote2007 Beta 2 Question
I've just installed Beta 2 and was wondering what will happen when Microsoft
releases the final version of ON, or Beta 3 if there is one. Will the
released version (or Beta 3) be able to read the Beta 2 file format? Or will
I have to re-enter stuff I enter in the Beta 2 version?

Accessing 2003 Notes
Usually beta versions nag at you _not_ to uninstall your commercial
version, advising that you cannot rely on a beta. Only for testing--
Microsoft seems to be doing all it can to get you to abandon ON 2003 for
2007 on the spot, from the more attractive Upgrade button in comparison to
Customize to the failure to define how they are using these words before
presenting a choice.

Can I use onenote with handheld
I have lots of info on onenote in my laptop. I also use a handheld and
wondered if there is a software for the handheld to synch with onenote....

Text Levels - Combining - OneNote 2007
I have not figured out how to combine levels of text in the beta version. In
the old version you could just drag two text sections together and it would
automatically join them. How do you do this in 2007?...

How long can you record with One Note?
I'm wondering how long One Note will record a message -- I need about half
and hour to two hours.
I'm also wondering if you can record a tape from a small cassette player
into One Note?
Are there other programs that are in the Office 2003 or on with Windows
that can also be used to record to and make CDs?

Which browser is best?
All,
What do I give up by choosing to use FireFox with OneNote2007? I love tabbed
browsing but IE7 isn't ready.
If can use cut a paste to get web pages into a ON2007 page, will those web
pages be searchable in ON2007? OCR'ed?

Help! New Stationary in OneNote 2003 (SP2) will not install
I have installed OneNote 2003 (SP2). When I try to download new stationary
from the office website, the ActiveX control seems working, but the
stationary does not appear in my OneNote stationary list. Also the new
category is not created. How do I fix this? I already tried a fresh
installation of OneNote....

Critical error: unable to save to the local cache
On opening a section in OneNote2007 got a message stating that it was
corrupt. Tried to repair it. Got a message stating that the repair was
successful, immediatelt followed by a more serious looking message, that goes
like this:
Critical error: unable to save to the local cache file for an unknown
reason(...). One Note will now exit.

Cambria Math font bugs
I am not exactly sure where this font came from but since the only thing
I have installed after re-imaging my machine is ON 2007 I am pretty sure
the font came with that. The problem is the subscripts and superscripts
do not show up. This is particularly irritating because, otherwise, this
would be the perfect font for typing in-line math equations. I also like

Can I reference a single One Note page using a hyperlink?
I am interested in using a hyperlink as a pointer to a specific page in One
Note. I would like to be able to point to my source page containing my notes
in One Note from a different program that I use as I organize my writing
material for projects, etc.
can this be done? I know I can imbed links in outlook, but not if I can
create links TO a specific page in outlook....

OneNote should have an online companion like Google Notebook
I am testing these days Google's Notebook and I can surely see some use
of a feature like this. I was away from my laptop's OneNote and I
wanted to collect some web clips of some information. Google Notebook
saved me that moment- and gave me the thought of using it more often

Journal format
I would like to suggest an additional feature to the brilliant OneNote
program: a journal folder.
The idea is that in addition to taking brief notes it should also be
possible to take notes linked to a calendar. I use OneNote for writing

I like to start my note "text boxes" with a size 14 bold font. Is there any

Print multiple page word .doc to multiple pages in OneNote
I have a 20 page document in Word that I would like to copy to OneNote, and
have it appear as 20 pages in one section.
If I drag the file from Windows Explorer into OneNote, I get the whole
document as one page. How can I get it to be 20 pages in OneNote (i.e., 20
separate page tabs down the right side)?

OneNote - can I change color of an ink object?
In OneNote, you can change a text object's color, but I'd like to know how,
