OneNote2003 takes up 4,095 MB space
A funny thing that I noticed with OneNote 2003 (having noticed it with
beta 2007) is that the computer lists it has taking up 4,095 MB of
memory. Does anyone else have this problem or know why this would
happen? Is there any way to cut it down?

While Tablets are very cool and all, it no longer looks like they're going
to take over the world. Why? Overall, keyboard remains the most effective
instrument for writing on the computer. As MS's contribution to all

When will we be able to use WDS again?
After installing the OneNote BETA, I obviously lost the ability to
perform a desktop search.
When will there be something I can install that will enable this? I've
reverted to using Google Desktop Search for now, but don't want to
stick with this product.
I see a number of posts about Indexing Services, etc. Is this
addressing the same problem?

WDS stops working after reboot
After a reboot, searches no longer work in ON 2007. Indexing Options shows
"Waiting for Status Update," which never comes. (Is this a common
complaint?)
After installing WDS, on service clearly related to it appears:
searchindexingservice, or something like that. A little later it seems it

Outlook 2007 - Not delivering Messages to local PST
I had intalles Outllok 2007 just today, everything seems to work very well
however i just realized that outlook is not delivering my new messages to my
local PST Inbox.
I had Outlook configured to do this so I can acces my email whenever I want.

Viewing Shared-Session in full screen mode?
Hi all,
We are using MS OneNote 2003's shared-session feature to discuss ideas over
the Internet with my co-workers.
However the OneNote GUI has so many bells and bristles and the
shared-session/whiteboard itself only occupies about 6/10 of the screen.

Unable to Sync OneNote Mobile notes with C600 SPV
I've installed OneNote Mobile on my C600, I am using ActiveSync 4.1 and I am
unable to Sync the notes from the phone.
On the ActiveSync on the PC Tools/Options OneNote is apearing as a source
but there is no checkbox next to the item.
On the Phone's ActiveSync OneNote appears as a greyed-out ticked check box.

Ink not persistent
I had a really strange thing this afternoon.
When trying to put anything with the pen on a document (and even
outside a document) when I did click somewhere else on the screen or
changed to a different page, the ink input got lost. It just flew
away.
I have no idea on what have been the case.
I had not changed anything and did just continue where I had stopped
working in another room....

One NOte
I have installed One Note on my Tablet PC and after a short period of time
using it. One does not want to open. everytime I try to open or print to it ,

How do you restrict WDS 3 beta as to folders indexed
Indexing Options seems to have the means to restrict the files indexed by
a tree representing the folder structure of one's drive. Someone reported
so doing. When I try to restrict it this way, the message appears to use
the Advanced Properties to change the properties and then return to the

Send To OneNote - Orientation
xWhen in Word/Excel, I use the feature "Send To OneNote" frequently.
Whenever I use this feature, the document is resized to "fit" in a 8.5x11
portrait size in OneNote.

Unfiled notes synchronization

Beta 2007 -Toolbar next to Menu toolbar?
I am trying to customize my ON toolbars to maximize available screen turf on
my tablet. When I drag a toolbar to be beside the Menu toolbar, the Menu tool
bar jumps down or up so as to stay on its own line. Space on the Menu toolbar
line is left unoccupied (i.e., wasted).

How can I print just one section or page in OneNote 2003?
I have pages and pages of notes in each section...there are many times I just
want to print a paragraph or a single page but in the print section under
file, only ALL or PAGES are available to me. Even if I choose page and let's
say 3, it will print all 40 if that is the amount of pages in that section.

OneNote should have an online companion like Google Notebook
I am testing these days Google's Notebook and I can surely see some use
of a feature like this. I was away from my laptop's OneNote and I
wanted to collect some web clips of some information. Google Notebook
saved me that moment- and gave me the thought of using it more often

Compatability between 2007beta files and 2007 final version files

I am considering trying out the ON 2007 beta. I realize that once I convert
