different signature for internal and external emails
Outlook should permit automatic application of a different signature block
for internal vs external emails, so that I can use a less formal signature
block internally.

Why doesn't the Page Setup Sidebar show Footer Options?
It lets you put the title in if you wish, but the footer isn't even
availble in the Print Dialog Box. You have to go to the Print Preview
to get to it. :( :( :( :(

Ok - now this is nice!
I added a flag to test my answer about the highlighting. I happened to be
sitting at the top of the flag list. It added my new flag as the one that
can be accessed with CTRL1, and moved the others down a notch. If you move
the flag around in those tow nine, it gets renumbered. If you delete it, the
others shift back up.
Maybe everyone else already noticed this, but that is a nice thing ...

Sync with One Note Mobile - Using Exchange

Paste in content from a web page from Firefox. Then hit Control - Home
to get it to the top before you close the Side Note window. It opens a
window using the link on the bottom of the pasted in content. Very

The Myth of No Return--or you really can still use your notes if you go back
Microsoft, imho, was wrong to encourage beta testers to abandon ON 2003.
Why? While the logic is arguably correct, a premise is false. Has no one
checked? It is no doubt true that no one wasted his time developing a
backwards translator allowing ON 2003 to read 2007 files. The proper

ON 2007 Beta 2-How to manually move or rename notebooks?
I'm running ON 2007 Beta 2 on a desktop and on a tablet. Each has the Files
| Sync | Work Offline selection active (shutting off auto sync).
I've seen other posts stating that notebooks can be moved manually by moving
the .ONE files between computers. If I move the associated _ONEFILES folder

Onenote 2007 B2 crashes
I installed ON 2007 B2 and really want to use the new features. But any
inking 1 do crashes ON immediately. I did the automatic crash report and
diagnosis and it said that the bug would be fixed in the next beta but didn't
tell me what the bug was. I really would like to know if I can fix this...

How can I activate an external microphone to use in One Note?
Try as I might, the only microphone I can get my tablet pc, on which I'm
trying to use One Note, is the default, installed microphone. What I want to
use is an sensitive external mic that gives better sound quality. I don't
see any place to add a microphone or any option of where the tablet should
recognize the sound. This doesn't seem like a hard question, but apparently

Opening Notebooks
Hey
I figured out how to open a whole notebook, by highlighting the folder and
clicking open via OneNote.
However, is there anyway for me to open the same notebook via My Documents?
When you double click the folder it opens all the sections contained with it.
And youn really shouldn't have to right click the folder and select 'Open
with OneNote'. Maybe collating all the sections into...

Blackberry
I have noticed when you use onenote and hand write a message and send this to
someone using a blackberry device it does this as an image file. Is there
some way to fix this as we currently block image files from our system.

Turn off spell checking
There are occasions when it would be great to be able to turn off
spellchecking for one part of OneNote, whether that is a section of a page or
a folder. Why, because text in the form of code snipits or T-SQL really looks
ugly with all the red underlines. Comments and explainations certainly
benefit from spell checking. And no one wants to have to reset the setting
for the whole applicat...

Crash loop, sync page error msg, and two file locations?
I have two problems and they may be related and causing the crash of ON2007.
First,
I closed some notebooks with a right click -- to remove extra icons from my
vertical toolbar on the left. I believe I am having trouble retrieving one
notebook as a whole notebook. It does not show up in Windows explorer as I
expected. There is a Folder under My Notebook with that name, "Personal" --...

OneNote 2003 !Criticial Security Patch Won't Install!
Try as I might and trying the MS suggested registry edit for the error (see
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=884298), I cannot get either of these
patches to install:

How do I setup transparent (NoFill) stationary in OneNote?
I am a teacher and I want to use OneNote and an LCD projector like an
overhead projector and a transparency. I want to be able to see the Windows
Desktop, or an Internet Explorer webpage, or anything else beneath my OneNote
stationary. By using the Tablet Pen on the transparent stationary, I will be

How to enter diacritics in OneNote 2007?
Is there a way to enter diacritic symbols (like umlats or the hat symbol
^) above characters in ON 2007? I am trying to enter as much of my math
notes as possible using text rather than pictures pasted in from Equation
Editor. So I need to be able to put things like bars or arrows above

Beta Refresh Release
OneNote 2007 crashes randomly (about 3 times an hour). Every time I submit
my error and then I click on more info about the error. The website states
that the bug is repaired and will be available in a future release. Anybody
have any thoughts on when the updates are coming? This is just killing me to
have all of these crashes....

Sent to onenote IE7 plugin is overwritten by another plugin
I use OMEA (jetbrains) software with IE7 and does not matter what I do
regarding installing, uninstalling onenote or OMEA, in the end OMEA takes
over the onenote plugin. I mean, onenote 2007 will send the web page to the
other software.
It seems that onenote and Omea plugins cannot coexist in the same IE7. Is
there something that I can do to keep both plugins?

OneNote should support audio and video from mobile phones
OneNote will aparently create links to any audio or video file through
dragging and dropping. However, I think OneNote should support insertion of
audio and video clips taken by mobile phones (or other devices) as if they
