OneNote 2007 Image Tools
I think that there should be more image editing features. At least include a image crop setting. Get Beta2 now or never!
http://news.com.com/2100-1012_3-6099987.html?part=rss&tag=6099987&subj=news Microsoft plans next week to charge a nominal fee for Office 2007 Beta 2 downloads, a move that runs counter to the practice held by most software companies. Consumers who download the 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2 will be charged $1.50 per download, beginning next Wednesday at 6 p.m. PDT, a Microsoft r...

Formatting problems with text input tool
When I am outlining with ON2007 using the text input tool, if I start a new sentence by hitting enter on the tool, then write my text and insert it, it either inserts the text on a previous line or skips a line and doesn't enter at all. In order to properly enter outline or numbering I have to insert text at the end of an existing line of text then insert cursor betweeen the two line an...

Beta 2 - Search and Flgs Summary - don't work
I upgraded to beta 2 yesterday. Since then, the search fails to found most of the expressions. In addition, the flag summary only shows the flag in current page. Search and flags options both indicate the search is done in all notebooks - but still - no results. I had no such problem with the first beta. Any ideas? thanks ...

More colors to select from to highlight flags.
Is there any way to provide more colours to pick from to associate with customized flags, or to change the colors that are offered by default? The 15 default colours seem to be a little chintzy, and I'd rate 8 or 9 of those as 'dark and dingy'. I'd enjoy being able to pick my own colour selections of a colour wheel, for example. Is there anyway to do this?...

Suggestion for Highlight with Type/Selection Tool
I'd like to see some more subtle, muted colors available for use with the Highlighter when using the Type/Selection Tool. The bright yellows, blues, and pinks are bit too garish, and the darker colors make the text hard to read behind them. (I'm not talking about the Pen tool, but the keyboard Type tool.) Just a minor suggestion -- but, as they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained. ...

Yellow Powerpoint highlighter obscures text when sent to OneNote
My professor does his overheads in Powerpoint. We can download them for a notes. He uses multiple highlighter colors to offset Headers or important text. When I "print" ("send to") OneNote, all the other highlighters show up, as well as the text they are highlighting. However, anything that has yellow highlighter over it is obscured...it's just a big block of yellow highlighter and the tex...

Several Suggestions
First, I would like to see a broader spectrum of colors available for highlighting and the option to have more than four highlighters available at a time. I'm talking about the text highlighters as well as the highlighters for note flags. Also, I have noticed that while "Screen Clippings" has an icon, whenever I put that command on a tool bar, the text phrase "screen clippings" appears...

Sketching in OneNote
I am a graphic artsit. Much of my weekly routine consist of gathering information from people regarding projects I am working on - taking notes and making sketches alongside the notes. While I understand and agree that OneNote should not attempt to provide 'finish' that is better done in professional design apps (nor would I switch if it did). For sketching I expect my TabletPC to fu...

OneNote should allow changing ink colours after the fact
I am often taking notes quickly into one note and don't have time to be switching pen colours all the time. Problems Customizing pens in OneNote 2007 Beta2
Hi, I am having trouble customizing the pens in OneNote 2007 Beta 2. I mean I can costumize the pen (change name, color, thickness) but when I hit OK, my settings do not override the previous settings for that pen but it just creates a "Custom Pen" at the end of the pen list. And when I try to customize another pen, it just overrides the settings I had before for that "Custom Pen". Th...

Pens,colors, highlighting - Note taking
I LOVE ONE NOTE - I own 2003 and I am currently using 2007 beta 2 . I have a Toshiba Portege M200 Tablet PC and 2003 One Note came loaded. Lost Notes
I installed ON 2007 beta on 7/7 (ON note only, not rest of Office 2007) and converted existing notes files to 2007 version and used ON 2007 without any significant issues, for 12 days through 7/19. On 7/25 when I opened my Notebook I didn't see any notes from last 2 weeks (since 7/7 when I converted) and the bar was at the top of my pages again, saying the section was read only and need...

Task back link not present
I've been creating tasks from OneNote using the "Insert -> Outlook Task" command in Beta 2. I'm using OL 2003. As I understand it, there should be a backlink to the OneNote entry embedded in the notes section of the newly created OL task. Unfortunately this is not the case. Only the text of the OneNote paragraph from which the task was created appears there. Any idea what I might...

Shortcuts to WebDAV files in OneNote 2007
It seems that in OneNote 2003, you could use "save as.." and then save a onenote section on a webdav server and the tab would be replaced with a shortcut to that now remotely hosted section. In 2007, I can't seem to make this happen no matter how I try. Can someone walk me through the procedure of getting a webdav hosted .one section to be part of one of my local notebooks? That way ...

Hidden dialog in Flags menu
All, I want to change and customize Flags in OneNote2007 and I have used the "Customize MY Note Flags" dialog. I have flags, most renamed, that use CTRL+1 through CTRL+9 and -- so far -- two others beyond that set. They *all* show in the menu that drops down when I click on the little down-arrow next to Flags. However, some "clickable" fly-out item is hidden behind the drop - down that ...

note flags summary and advanced search operators
I didn't bother digging out the threads for these two items, so let me just post this here. 1. Does the note flags summary require WDS3? Nope, it does not. However, search in B2 is pretty broken, so it might only work with WDS3 in B2. 2. Are there any advanced operators for search? "We support AND and OR Boolean operators...We implicitly add a * wildcard to all terms as we search pr...
