I need a larger workspace to enter music notation on my tablet pc for

Onenote 2007 BETA 2 - Search Failing (Even with WD3)
I keep most of my notes in handwritten format. When I try to search in
onenote it will only find handwritten items in current note and will not find
the items in other note pages even though I have the search set to all
notebooks. If I go to another note page and type the item to search for that

Vista 64 bit How to index OneNote 2007 B2
I have read a large amount of posts. It looks like OneNote does its own
indexing with WDS3 but Vista 64 bit wont install WDS 3. Is there a way
to index using Vista's inbuilt indexing? I am happy for it to return a
file and when that file is returned to open and search in OneNote. I
thought OneNote and WDS would be a solution for unified storage and
searching but it seems not.

OneNote 2003 Send to Word - Word window question
All MS 2003 on XP Pro.
When you send to Word, I think that OneNote remembers the Word window
size, positioin, etc. Is that correct? If it is, is there a way to
erase that "memory" in OneNote?

Missing task link in outlook
I am using the beta 2 version of both Outlook and OneNote and the linking
feature in onenote does not seem to work properly. When I use the follow-up
flag in OneNote, a task is created in Outlook, however, the link in the body
of the task is not created. The task title is in the body, but not the link.
When I first loaded the beta version I kept the prior version of both Office
(2003)...

"send to word" grayed out in ON 2007 (w/office 2003)
Hi -
I installed ON 2007 (12.0.4017.1003) about 2 months ago and I'm not able to
use the option send to microsoft word option. It's just grayed out under the
"send to" menu. I have Office 2003 install, and I've run both the "office
diagnostics" tool in ON and the repair tool in Office (as suggested on Chris
Pratley's blog). I'm at a loss. Any ideas why I can't use this feature?...

how do I put a link to an outlook note in onenote?
Used to be that when I dragged a note from outlook to one-note, it created a
link which I could click to see the original file. Now, it just pastes the
note title information, which is no use at all. Anyone know what I might
have done, and how I might undo it?...

any know if pocket pc Mobile OneNote will sync with 2 computers ? just I am

switching software install from desktop to laptop
I just installed one note on my desktop and then onto my laptop but it only
lets you use one install on one or the other. So I uninstalled it on my
desktop then installed it only on my laptop. It says I have used my one time
install already. What can I do to get the install switched to my laptop?...

How confirm success transfer from trial to long-term Office 2003
I have a new compac computer. Have trial subscription to microsoft office.
Went through procedure to register for regular service on line. But when it
came to confirm or secure my registration it did not seem to accept my
password. But I think I am registered because when I pull up office 2003 and
go under help and activate it says "already activated" Is this good enough?

How do I easily & quickly alphabetize the folder tabs?
I know that it's possible to physically move tabs or folders so they are in
alphabetical order. This is cumbersome if you have a lot of folders like I
do. Is it possible to highlite all the folders somehow and alphabetize them? ...

Synchronizing Files in OneNote 2007
I am synchronizing OneNote between my desktop and Tablet. All the pages seem
to synchronize fine, but embedded documents do not.

Why does OneNote not have VBA ? Answer: Security
OneNote is a new app, still. OneNote 2007 is a limited but useful
product. It is *NOT* an information warehouse that will promote
significant sharing amongst users and it's recall of stored information
is very weak. It'll store a few notes on a few things, that's really
it.
Considering how limited a product it is .... why not allow end users
the ability to customize it ? Users familiar...

Password
No, I didn't forget my password. I'm just reinstalling a new O/S and my
entire system. I moved my OneNote files to another drive but now they won't
open with what I know to be my password even when I copy the files back to my
main drive.
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening and what I can do to correct
the situation?

Reverted back to Onenote 2003 but noteflags are messed up
Due to problems (already reported) with noteflags in 2007 I decided to revert
back to Onenote 2003, but my noteflags seem to be all mixed up (again).
I'd backed up
-My notebook
-Toolbars.dat
and
- preferences.dat
before I migrated to 2007.
I've deinstalled 2007, reinstalled 2003 and copied the above 2 files over to
C:\Documents and Settings\Paul Phillips\Application Data\Microsoft...

OneNote beta says I should be able to press the Windows/Start key + S and
copy an area from an internet page that will automatically be pasted into

OneNote 2007 has screwed up my Outlook syncing with my PocketPC device!!!
All,
Ever since I installed the beta of OneNote, when I sync up Outlook with my Pocket PC, I no longer get the notes that are attaches to any Outlook item (Task\Calender\Contacts - notes\content field)!!!
Is their a way of correcting this behavior so i can get the notes contact field from my Outlook file to sync with my PocketPC.

OneNote should persist mail recipients from File->Send To->Mail Re
In "report" type scenarios, I find myself sending the same OneNote file to
recipients over and over again, but every time I Ctrl+Shift+E, I have to
enter recipients from scratch.
I'm assuming this isn't possible currently.

can i get tutorials for OneNote 2003?
I'm new to using OneNote 2003, can i get books or pages which i can print
from the internet, that can teach me how to use it efficiently & effectively?
I am trying to avoid using the online tutorial programme, as i find this
method increases internet connections, and subsequently my internet charges
are becoming expensive.

ON 2007 - Publishing as PDF or XPS
On my desktop where everything else seems to be OK (no install
problems) in the "File" menu the menu item "Publish as PDF or XMS" is
disabled (greyed).
I have no idea why.

no text appears when I type in OneNote
I have just downloaded the OneNote trial and when I try to enter any text or
paste a picture - nothing happens. I can enter text into the Help text field,
but I can't delete it. When I type text in Word and copy it, I cannot paste
it into OneNote, neither can I copy a picture and paste that. I have
downloaded and installed all the patches off the Microsoft Office Update site
