One Note Mobile install failed
I tried to load the Mobile aspect from ON but I get and error saying it can't
find Activesync... any clues ? ? Using latest Activesync and ON 2007B and
Office 2003 suite...

Issue with Page Titles in Quick Notes
I capture info in Quick Notes all day long. But I don't have the title
display in Quick Notes (quite frankly, I don't know if you can...) and
I'm getting a problem when I get into the main application when I view
a page created originally as a Quick Note. I can't rename the Title
just using the tab (ideally, just clicking on it twice, like changing
icon names, or right-clicking and choosing...

One Note should have table option similar to Word
I find it frustrating while taking notes to not be able to "insert a table"
with borders etc. like I can in a word document.

Outlook 2003 and Onenote 2007 beta - missing Onenote icon in outlook
I have been using Onenote 2007 with Outlook 2003 for the past few
weeks. Everything was working well.
I installed the desktop search functionality as Onenote recommended
with no problems.
One day I started Outlook 2003 after succesfully running for a few

Sync Issues
Is this the proper forum to report potential bugs?

Where is the OneNote 2007 API or SDK?
I've read the "What's new" articles, but those just skimmed over the details.
The paragraph on the COM API didn't help at all. Is there more complete
information available somewhere? OneNote 2007 is so close to useful for me.
If only I could tweak it.

Law School and 2007 OneNote?
Hey everyone,
I am about to start law school. I was impressed with 2003 (I was
playing around with it a bit to see if I could use it to replace

Outlook 2007 Beta 2: Tablet text insert doesn't work
When using the Tablet in pen mode to insert text either in the main body of
OneNote or in the OneNote search bar, I click on Insert and nothing happens.
The insert function works just fine in other apps (e.g., IE 7, Word, etc.).
Has anybody else experienced similar difficulties?...

Rearranging handwritten paragraphs in ON 2007b corrupts them.
If I write a series of paragraphs in handwriting then attempt to
rearrange them by dragging the paragraph handles OneNote will totally
hose up the paragraphs. Sometimes it will merge two paragraphs that were
separate. Sometimes it will attach blank space above and/or below a
paragraph that will follow it wherever I move it. This blank space
remains even when it merges the paragraphs toge...

outlining problem with tablet pc
When I am outlining with ON2007 using the text input tool, if I start a new
sentence by hitting enter on the tool, then write my text and insert it, it
either inserts the text on a previous line or skips a line and doesn't enter
at all.
In order to properly enter outline or numbering I have to insert text at the
end of an existing line of text then insert cursor betweeen the two line ...

Two-way sync in OneNote 2007 with Outlook
Is there a way to import Outlook Tasks into OneNote 2007--or to sync them
with OneNote--so that Tasks already in Outlook can be worked with in OneNote,
even if tey did not originate there?

Custom OneNote Flag Symbols
Is there a way to create these symbols myself and add them to OneNote 2003
sp2? While the ones with OneNote are okay, I am a Program Manager for a
global company and I would like our PMO to use our own standard set of
symbols for reporting purposes.
Can this be done with the Office 2003 Resource Kit?

Pen can be both ink and highlighter with a click of the pen butto.
The Tablet pen works as ink until the pen button is pushed, at which time the
ink will become highlighter. This will be easier than selecting the pen tool
and then selecting the highlighter tool from the toolbar. In a meeting or

I am having some problems using OneNote 2003 offline with Windows 2000.
Here is the scenario:
1. One Note is installed on a Windows 2000 laptop.
2. The "My Notebook" folder is located on a network drive.

One Note Mobile 7 Sync???
I read that OneNote Beta 7 will sync both ways with the mobile version, from
PC to mobile device, or vice versa. I cannot get that to work, however.
PC-Windows XP Pro SP2, all the newest updates, and ActiveSync 4.2 (final).

IndexingON2007 "Paused" and I cannot figure out how to restart it
All,
For my ON2007 WDS3 search I changed the target files and folders to just
those which are OneNote. I then planned to leave the machine on, but the
indexing is paused according to the display in the control panel. I have
poked around the tool but found no trigger. Only a few files were indexed.
(If I go look this window does not persist...)
How do I restart the WSD3?
