How to I align the text and stationary (picture) in an email?
I tried emailing my meeting agenda to my team and the stationary showed up as
a picture with the text below it. It wasn't aligned as it is when you type
things up on OneNote. How do I make sure it looks the same?...

Send e-mail to OneNote failed
I am using OneNote 2007 beta and Outlook 2003. I had to reinstall everything
due to a hard drive failure and now when I try to send an e-mail to OneNote I
get the error message "The Outlook item has restricted permissions and cannot
be sent to OneNote" It was working fine before the hard drive crash.
Has anyone run into this and know a solution?

Symbol Shortcut Keys?
I purchased OneNote for the purpose of taking notes in law school. I have
been very disappointed because I haven't been able to assign shortcut keys to
symbols that I frequently use. I have switched back to taking notes with
Word. Please tell me how I can I assign shortcuts to symbols in OneNote so
that I don't feel like I wasted my money. Thanks....

switch from sidenote to main onenote?
In onenote 2003, you could just maximize a sidenote and get to the full
notebook. I cannot figure out how to do that in onenote 2007. Can someone

Make pen pressure sensitive?
I'm using OneNote Beta2 on a desktop computer with a Wacom tablet connected.
When I check "Use pen pressure sensitivity" under Options, it doesn't appear
to have any effect on my pen strokes.
Also, is there any way to make OneNote default to the pen tool when opening
a new Side Note? That's what I would typically want to use, but as it is,
OneNote defaults to the text tool and I have to...

Licence for how many computers?
Hi,
I read on the OneNote website that you can download the trails for up to 4
computers... but i am wondering if i was to purchase the software online at
microsoft how many computers is it licenced for? Is it like the MS Office S&T
where by you can instal the software on three computers?

OneNote handwriting is not as good as in Journal
I have an HP TC1100 Tablet and really enjoy handwriting. But the style of
writing in OneNote is just not the same nor as good as in Journal. In
particular, selecting and rearranging handwriting on the page is much better
in Journal. But I prefer the folders and organizing capability of One Note.

OneNote should have basic PowerPoint drawing capabilities
I'm a Systems Architect and use OneNote on both a laptop and a tablet to
capture all my mtg notes, thoughts, and ideas. Much of my work involves
creating architecture or data flow diagrams. Diagrams are difficult to do
with pen and near impossible with mouse. I often publish my notes so I want
something decent that I can share with colleagues. Drawing freehand is much

Audio Note from USB 2.0 input doesn't work?
Sound input through a Griffin iMic into the USB port on my Motion 1400 does
not get recorded in an Audio Note. Straight in to the Microphone port with a
dubbing cable does work.
Since the Windows Sound Recorder utility records both ways - I think this is
something unique in OneNote 2007 beta ?...

Links in OneNote
It would be helpful if there were a way to link pages in different notebooks
in OneNote. For example, if you keep a daily log of activities with expanded
notes on particular activities in another section, it would be helpful to
have links in the daily log which would take you directly to the other
section.

Is there a way to revert ON 2007 files back to 2003 format
I've been using on 2007 for the last few weeks and was happy with it until it
started running at 100% CPU all the time. It seems to be an issue wits a few
beta testers. l am considering going back to 2003, but I cannot find any way
to convert the 2007 files back to 2003 format. trying to open 2003 shows a

Putting pdf files in OneNote
In OneNote 2003, I'm trying to put pdf and html images into ON. But when I
try to "insert document as image" neither pdf nor html files are allowed.
The only workaround I've found is to "create screen clipping," which is fine
for short docs but not for multi-page docs.

Audio notes degrade to unusable
After 2.5 minutes Audio Notes I'm recording from a Sony Walkman CD player
start to slow down, dropping the audio pitch to an unrecognizable bass. A
dubbing cable from the headphone output port is bringing the signal to my
Microphone port on a Motion M1400. I'm using the ON 2007 beta.

Support embedded word/excel documents/links inside a note page
When inserting a WORD, EXCEL or other Microsoft product inside of the OneNote
page it should be an active link, so if double clicked it will give you
original application functionality. Why doesn't OneNote offer the basic
integration and functaionality as existing applications.,

keypad shortcuts for symbols in onenote?
I am trying to find a way to create keypad shortcuts to easily type in
symbols in onenote for taking class notes. In word it is very simple to
create the shortcuts under Insert>Symbol>ShortKey. OneNote apparently
doesn't have this functionality, or I may be missing it. Any ideas?...

My product key won't work to open onenote- says i typed it wrong
I bought the Microsoft Office 2003 edition and downloaded it onto my
computer. An icon for Microsoft OneNote appeared on my screen and when I

has become available online. We have heard of issues reported, so I wanted to
suggest recovery steps.

SIDENOTES OFTEN ARE READ ONLY WHY?
I use sidenote for telephone messages & information. Sometimes i open a
sidenote and it is read only. at the moment I can't figure out how to change
