Problem inserting documents as pictures
I am having problems using the "insert document as picture" function. I am
using Office Professional 2003 first edition and installed service pack 2.
I've installed OneNote 2003 and then installed service pack 2. I tried the
fix posted on the Microsoft site (rename dll file, uninstall document imaging
and reinstall). This did not fix the problem. Is there something else I can
try. I did ...

taking a screenclip, prompt an optional note box to attached auto.
I use screenclips alot for various things and sometimes I cannot remember
what my original intent was for use of the clip (a presentation, to show
someone, etc.)... it would help if there was an option (as there are options
for displaying the clips on the icon bar) to enable a prompt to appear
directly after clipping- the prompt would be a box in which to type notes
that automatically is...

Can onenote maintain an active image of a file on a onenote page?
We are considering using onenote to archive some team charts, project grids
in word and excel and know that we can print the results to onenote for
viewing in a project information folder. We find it exciting that we can
keep all this information in one place.
The problem we are having is if a team member changes, or a chart changes
and we update the excel file or the word file we have...

Make Grouped pages collapsible
When you have a main page followed by several subpages, making the subpages
collapsable beneath the main page would ease navigation through the rest of
the section/folder. Would help make the sidebar more clean looking/less messy
or cluttered. Obviously, this only applies if you must utilize subpages, as
I do for lecture notes to speed navigation. Using OneNote 2003 sp2.

Will I loose my notes from OneNote 2007B2 to OneNote 2007 retail?
I use OneNote 2003 and would love to work with the new 2007 beta 2. My
concern is that I will use 2007 B2 and when the retail version comes out, my
notes won't covert or be accessible. Is this something I should be concerned
about or not?...

opening powerpoint from onenote
I downloaded ON2007, and I love it. I just have one problem that's rather
annoying. I'm a student, and I often insert powerpoint lectures on specific
pages using the File, Insert command. However, I have problems opening those
powerpoint slides from the page. Immediately after starting ON2007, the
first time I go to open a powerpoint presentation from a page, there's no
problem. But...

OneNote Beta Feedback
Not quite sure if this is the place for providing this feedback but I
couldn't find an alternative option. I hope these are helpful to the design
team. I look forward to the final product.

Sharing onenote via .mht
I am trying to sharesome notes with a colleague who does use Onenote. I saved
the file as .mht, when he opens the file in his browser he just gets a
screenful of rctangualr boxes with the red 'x' in. Is this a browser setting
he has (IE 6.0), if so what does he need to configure or something else?

Re-Downloading Onenote
Hello all. I downloaded Microsoft Office Onenote 2007 Beta when there was no
money needed to download. I then need to reformat my computer. When I go back
to the Office '07 preview site I find that it now requires money? Aren't
betas free? Yes I know 500% more than expected...

"Section from a Different Version of OneNote and Cannot Be opened"
I accidently deleted my entire documents folder (yeah). But successfully
recovered it, so I thought. One Note will not access my notebooks and gives
me the error I quoted in the Subject line.
My installation of onenote is Beta 2, and has not changed.
Is there any solution or possibility to recover my data.

How I made searching work in OneNote 2007
For a couple of days, searching my newly downloaded OneNote 2007 multiple
notebooks using Windows desktop search 3 didn't work for me at all. I was
able to search within the page I was in but not in multiple notebooks. I
tried every combination of actions to fix this, for example, uninstalling

I Get a Error Message - Audio Playback
Can anyone out there help me solve this problem. Recently I uploaded one of
my audio files that i recorded through OneNote into my IPOD to listen on the
go. Now i cannot playback the recording in OneNote. I get a error message.

Non-formatted text?
Is there a way to set up a template that has no text formatting? If I type
something on a normal page in OneNote and then copy and paste it, it copies
all the formatting as well as the text. If I'm pasting into a program that
has problems with formatting, I get around this by first pasting into
something like Notepad, and then copying and pasting from there.

Product Code
I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite A100 notebook and it came with OneNote
on it, but when I try to open it it asks for the product code. As far as I
can tell, it was supposed to have come free with the laptop and I can't see a
product code in any of the documents that came with my computer....

Flash cards
I may be completely mistaken, but I thought I read somewhere that OneNote
(and I have 2003) could make flash cards for me. I'm a student taking
anatomy and wanted to test myself with muscles on one side and its

Can you create a template that not only contains the page but also the
