Hiding a button based on User Roles
I'm trying to hide a button if the user is not a specific network
user... I create a rule that says if the user's current role is not
equal to domain\user_1 then "hide this control". This works fine with
one user... but if I add more than one user there seems to be a limit

Hello,
I would like to create a infopath form that will submit to a SQL server
database. I would also like to publish the form on sharepoint. Can
someone give me a start? My biggest problem is making the infopath
form talk to SQL.

Limit to List
I have a drop down list which looks up values from a database (access). I
want my users to be able to either choose a value from the list or to type in
a new one which will dynamically update the database with a new record so it
shows up in the LOV next time the field is used.
Any Ideas are appreciated.

When I export view to html file the dropdownlist have a border, can we
remove this border? I can't change this dropdownlist to textbox because

What's the maximum number of columns supported by sharepoint teams services?
Is there a way within teams to rename a column created by infopath? My form

Positive conditional formatting
I need to set a field's conditional formatting so that it is displayed when
either one of two conditions in a group are selected. Let's say I have 10

cannot access template file in infopath2003
i am using infopath 2003 with sp2. whenever i wanna save a form template
file, the application prompts for a file access error. also, i can open
a existing template file but cannot save changes to it, and cannot open
any form data file of that template.
it looks like a normal file permission problem, but i'm sure that is not

Field changes it's own value.
I'm using the sample Infopath form Purchase Request, with a couple of
modifications, additions.
I originally changed the default "estimatedtaxrate" to 6.000 from 0.000
but since removed it.
When I now enter the number of items I want to purchase, different from
the default of 1, to say 2, the value of the "estimatedtaxrate" field
changes to 600.000.
I have no rules or anything anywher...

I have finally created the perfect form for our business..it comvines 6 forms
into one that changes according to type of job to be printed.
I need a button (script or code) that when clicked will first print the form
to a predefined printer and then send the form as an attachment to a

I found problem to store infopath xml file to SQL 2005 which xml
datatype. The error cause because I cannot create the same schema as what I
did in infopath.
SQL throw an error
The XML Schema syntax 'processContents="lax"' is not supported.
