Obtain a string from a serial port and store it in Infopath
Guys,
I need to obtain a text string from an internal serial port on a
tablet PC and store it into an Infopath field.
This serial port has a GPS device that is continuously sending a
text string with the position a the tablet PC. I would like to obtain a
certain text string from the COM port and store it into an Infopath field.
Suggestions please?...

Secondary Data Connection Web Service with a parameter?
I have a web service that takes a single parameter. The data for the
parameter is in a field on the InfoPath form. I want to call the web
service once the user has filled in the data and clicks a button on the
form.
When I created the web service data connection, the wizard asks for a
'sample' value for the parameter. If I enter a valid value for that

floating attribute issue when previewing infopath form
I keep get the following error when attempting to preview an infopath form.
The form being developed has managed code (C#, VS 2005).
InfoPath cannot open the selected form because of an error in the form's code.
A floating attribute may not be passed as the context node for an XSLT
transform or an XPath query.

Signature Wizard
Hello
I am building an InfoPath form and I want the form to prompt user to sign
the form using code.
The examples I have found so far can only display the Signature Dialog box
but I want my form to jump several steps in the Wizard so it would be the
same as the users click on Click here to sign section to sign the form.
Can anyone help please?

Rendering issues in Outlook 2007
I've created a new form and parts of the form do not appear to render
correctly in the Outlook 2007 reading pane.
I have a table with six columns and the column size varies depending on the
text in the column. I'd post a screenshot somewhere if it would help.
So, InfoPath form issue or Outlook 2007 rendering issue?

Submit an InfoPath form to the SharePoint library it was opened from

Does not allow editing of data connection for submit
While experimenting with programming options, I've noticed that there is no
way (that I can see) to edit an existing Data Connection for Submit.

Current Mouse Location
Is there a way to get the current mouse location or the location of a button
on the form? I want to pop up a drop-down list when the user presses a
button on the form. It would be nice if the list showed up in the right spot
so I need to know where the mosue is or I need to find the button location.

Change value in repeating tables
I have a repeating table that has 2 drop downs - the second one is dependant
