create ssp admin site
Hi,
I've tried using the web interface to create a shared services provider
admin site so I can get session state for my browser enabled infopath forms.
It says the SSP is created successfully, but there is no sign of the
assoicated admin site. When creating the SSP, I chose to create a new web
application for the admin site (with a new application pool).
When I'm done, there is no...

Error: Attempt to modify a read-only node

I have a form that when most users install it and open it, everything works
fine. However, one user receives an error that Infopath cannot open the form

Infopath generating two inserts

Automatic cell numbering included in a pull-down
I figured out how to get the auto numbering expression to work and have the
cell bound to a data source. The expression should read;
count(preceding::my:NodeName) + 1
NOW I would like to use those values in another pull down but when I use
"look up values in forms data source" all I get are blank spaces.

Hi,
I have a form with a repeating section from which I want to send a mail to
different receivers for every section and without the attached xml-file.

Suppress Opening Messages in Infopath
Does anyone know if there is the ability to suppress all of the opening
messages that a user seeing when opening an InfoPath form? What I would like
is for InfoPath to open "in the background" and the form display to the user

Image Header
I have inserted a logo image in a table at the top of my form so it's
not in headers, or any work around or Word Views, just an image plunked
into a table cell like we've been doing for years in any program. From
the menu, Insert / Picture / From File.. The menu command is there so
one would thibnk this would work.
When creating a new record/new form, the image is perfectly visible.

How to solve the dreaded infopath crash when filling forms...(maybe)

Subject Formula for E-mail
I am trying to get the subject to autopopulate with what is filled out
in the form. When I put in *name(ChangeType) change requst for
name(case) name(contact)* it doesn't work. If I just have
*name(ChangeType)* it's fine. Once I type anything after that I get an

Hi@,
Here is our scenario.. We have 2 roles, submitter, approver.
The submitter fills the form and saves to a sharepoint 2007Form Lib.
The approver views the form and approves it through SPS. But How can I make
sure that the form is view-only for the approver?

"Page Down" key not working in "Print Preview" mode
Version: Word 2003, SP2
OS: XP 2002, SP2
Until a few days ago this wasn't a problem...
During "Print Preview", I cannot use the "Page Down" key. "Page Up" works
fine and I can use the mouse to move the scroll bar.
"Page Down" works fine in Adobe files and in "Print Preview" in Excel - so
it doesn't appear to be the key itself.

Formula problems w decimal places
I've written a formula that sums the values entered in fields on an infopath
form, and a couple of fields are multiplied by a decimal value that often
yields a decimalized value for the calculation. However, that sets off data
