Export ActiveX control values to Excel
Hello,
I've added custom controls to an Infopath form. One of these controls is the
MS Slider control. It works in the form, and indicates the value while
filling out the form, but when I want to export the form to Excel or export
to the web (mht), the binding (Form field) is omitted from the list and only
the standard controls are shown. As a result I cannot export ActiveX control

Array of repeating sections
Hi,
Can anyone please give me a suggestion on how to pick up information from a
repeating section with VBScript.
In my repeating section I have information about suppliers, one supplier per
section.
I want to send one mail to each supplier with information from corresponding
section in each mail.
Is this possible to solve with VBScript?

auto-numbering field
I am developing a form that has a repeating table. I want the rows to
autopopulate the first field with the number of the row. This is the same
functionality that is present with the LineItem field in the default Change
Order form template that comes with InfoPath.

We are currently trying to create a form that validates the user who is
using the form with a drop down box. We want them to only be able to choose
that name in the drop down that matches the domain user at that specific
time. EIther that or the field is automatically populated with the current

Date Validation
I have a date picker field in my InfoPath form.
I have validation rule that says the date selected cannot be less than
today's date and that works well.
I am trying to ensure the person also enters a valid date (in the form
dd\MM\yyyy). I have been trying pattern matching but it has not seemed to
work. What would be a valuid pattern to match for the above date format?

Infopath 2007 forms development and Sharepoint Server 2007
Hello,
I've created an Infopath 2007 form and have uploaded it to MOSS 2007. I've
created a simple ASP.NET page hosting the XmlFormView control. When I browse
to the form, I get an error message consisting of "Solution you are trying to
open is not present" and asks me to either try again or close the form.

Calculating age in Repeating tables
I have a form with a repeating table. The form is also has an access database
as its data source.
There is a week ending field in a repeating section. Within that repeating
section is a repeating table which has a field start date.
I need to validate whether the start date is <= Week Ending date and >= Week
Ending Date - 6.
I can validate the first part but not the Week Ending Date ...

Adding Controls
I have one view that gets data from a Secondary source: select

Linking Database
I am new to this and I read a how-to on MS web-site about linking a
database. I tried this on my database. I have one table in the database and
then i also have a linked table in that database. When I go to setup my IP
form it does not show the linked table in the database, just the table that
is in the database. Can this work? I hope you understand what I am trying to

How to redirect InforPath to a Hyperlink upon closing
The Application.ActiveWindow.Close(true); closes the form and InfoPath
directly after the submit. We would like for the form to process the request,
close the form and close the InfoPath window.

Our organization has recently made a committment to Share Point and InfoPath
and I am being "assigned" as the Forms expert.
I have been searching in vain for an InfoPath class to get the basics and a
little bit more but have had zero success.
