Restarting lists in WordprocessingML generated via XSLT
Does anyone know definitively how to get numbered/outline lists to restart in a WordprocessingML document generated via XSLT? We have tried styles with w:start, lists with w:startOverride, and various other options blogged around the web. We are trying to do this without having to create a new listDef for every list in our documents, as some of our documents can be quite long, and the list...

How to Associate Custom Data with XMLNode object?
What is the best way of associating application-defined data with XMLNode objects? Word's XMLNode object doesn't unfortunately have the Tag property (like many other Office objects), where I could store some data. Also I can't create a Dictionary, because XMLNode objects cannot be used as dictionary keys - they are obviously (like Range objects) volatile views of some opaque internal obj...

XMLAfterInsert Event and Child Nodes
Is there a way to discriminate contexts of the arriving XMLAfterInsert events between the case when an XML node is inserted together with some content (e.g. by paste operation) from the case when the XML node only wraps a portion of existing content (e.g. by apply XML tag operation)? For XMLBeforeDelete event, one can discriminate those contexts by analyzing the Range parameter, which is nu...

However, there is no counterpart set method in Range class such as Range.set_XML. I've tried using Range.Text & Range.InsertXml for this task. Unfortunately, both do not seem to accept WORDML format. any ideas?...
