Computer trys to install Office w/ Frontpage
Every time I startup my computer, or launch an MS Office Application, I get a
message that the computer is looking for a disk with MS Office with Front
Page. I don't use or want to use Front Page, but a few weeks ago, a
colleague sent a file to me in this program, and I tried to open it not
realizing what it was. Any way, since then my computer has tried to install

Outlook not installed for current user
I have had a problem with my inbox today, and repaired it, but now when I
open Outlook 2002, I get this message:
Microsoft Outlook has not been set up for the current user. Please run setup
to install the application.
If I recall, setup if part of Office 2002, and running the setup is another
problem I am having.

Install wants patch package
Hello,
I can't run any of my Office 2002 programs. When I log onto my computer or
when I try to open an Office program, and Outlook 2002, the Install program
comes up. When I try to run Setup I get this message:

Local Installation Source - doens't happen
Trying to upgrade our Office XP to 2003, 200 nodes, and make life a little
easier by creating Local Installtaion Source on all client machines so when
the next Service Pack comes out the CD will not be required. Wonderful

Installer 3.1 and Office 97
I am trying to install MS Access 97 on a new PC with Office 2003
pre-installed. I have successfully done this on a number of other PCs
by renaming the Hatten font, etc.
The new PC also has Windows Installer 3.1. Office 97 setup will not
run. Launching setup gives a short hourglass then nothing. When
signing off the PC, there are errors about setup failing to start.

Excell - Watermark Page Numbers?
I am new to using Excel.
I have created some spread sheets and, on some of them, the program has
created an entry in the middle of the work area. It is the word PAGE and a

Word looks for cd each time its started
Ive just reinstalled Office 2000 Pro and applied all relevant updates,
everything works find except for word, wherever I start it from, it brings up
the "installing" box and asks me to put the cd in the drive, when I press
cancel it just says to go to setup and choose repair, then starts and acts
normally. Ive tried repairing it but he same thing happens everytime....

Office 2003 Langauge settings
Having recently installed Office 2003, I have a quirky problem.
When creating a new Word document, the language displayed in the bottom
of the display is Welsh, despite my having set everything to UK
English. Even after accessing the languages option in Tools, and

Installing 2003 Office Pro on different computer than it came with
In 2004, I purchased a Gateway 610XL Media Center computer with
Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 with Business Contact
Manager installed on the computer. The computer crashed (poor design
problem) and is no longer working. I want to install the MS Office on

BCM 2007 beta won't install or uninstall
I just upgraded my Office 2003 apps to the 2007 Office beta, and everything
went OK except for Business Contact Manager. I now cannot access my business
accounts or contacts (I was using the version for Outlook 2003 and Small
Business Accounting 2006, with OfficeSBMESP3 installed).

Office 2007 installation error on Vista
Trying to install Office 2007 pro beta on Vista 5384 and every time when
installation gets to about 50% it encounters a problem, stops and rolls back
with error 1953 {97F81AF1-0E47-DC99-A01F-C8B39A1E18E} HRESULT: 0 x8007054F.
Same result in Safe Mode. What does this error mean?...

Error 1935 installing Office 2007 beta on Vista 5384
I'm getting Error 1935 when attempting to install Offoce Pro Plus on Win
Vista 5384. The only other two discussions on the subject affected people
attempting to install on Vista build 5308 and suggest waiting for build 5384
of Vista, but it is 5384 that I'm running.
Has anyone encountered the 1935 error on 5384 and, if so, was it fixable?

I lost my Office 97 Install Code, but I have the original CD's.
I'm assisting another computer user. Their hard disk crashed and they had to
re-install all of their programs. They are using Windows ME operating system.
They have their original Office 97 CD's, but not the media covers with the
installation code. How can we obtain a replacement install code without

Office Beta 2 in Vista build 5456
Has anyone else been able to get Office 2007 to install o n the latest Vista
(build 5456) release. After updating, it tried to reconfigure Word when
attempting to open, which failed. I uninstalled (which incidently was not the
