uninstall office 2002
uninstalled office 2002 as got damaged. tried to reinstall. messages stating
that word was not responding. it was suggested that I use INstaller Cleanup
Utility. I downloaded it and started it. It got interrupted. Tried again
and message said another install was in progress and I need to finish that
one first! So, where do I find that?? Tried to download the utility again

Auto fill in of Product key
Is there a way to automatically fill in my product key? We have a volume
license key and we want to manually install office on each PC. But, I don't
want to type in the key each time.
Is there some kind of batch file I can run from a disk or something that
will do it for me? Is there some other way?

Error 1935 (HRESULT 0x900700B7) Installing Office Pro Beta 2 on Wi
Using Windows XP Home (SP2), and trying to install the recently released
Office Professional Plus 2007 (Beta), and I get the following error:
"Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly component

Newbie question, switching office shortcut icons
I work in an office where we play a lot of practical jokes...I just checked
to see if I could reverse the shortcut icons for Word and Excel in any or
all places where it is seen (taskbar, start menu, etc.)- so basically, the
user would click on Excel and get a Word document, and visa versa. Something
that I could switch back, after the joke.

[Qry] [OT] After open Excel 2K3 it closes immediately
Sorry for cross-posting and of-topic (maybe people in W2K/XP news could
solve this problem).
Excel was working without problems for many time but I have great surprise
today because when I open Excel it closes immediately. No error or window is
displayed, just closed.
According to Norton, AVG, MS OneCare, Ewido, Ad-aware and Windows Defender
the pc is clean.

Office 2003 Deployment via SMS
I have run into a problem that I hope someone can shed some light on.
I created an Office 2003 package, with a custom MST. I deploy Office via SMS
2003 by using a script to first uninstall some Office 2000 components (eg
MSFilter) then run custom setup command to include the MST. On a recent

Has anyone had problems downloading Microsoft Office Student Teac.
I'm having a heck of a time with downloading Microsoft Office 2003 Student

Office 2003 EE Problem
I installed Office 2003 EE on my machine, updated to SP2 and applied the
most recent updates. Now whenever I double click on a file ( i.e. .xls,
..doc) it doesn't open the application but if I open the application first
then double click on the file it opens perfectly. I checked all the file
associations and they look fine. What is the cause?

Missing Help Files on Office XP
The Help Files first went missing when I had Office 2000 re-installed on my
work PC ages ago. F1 would bring up a blank Help window, nothing more. No

failed re-installation of office 2007 beta
I had office beta installed with it working happily. Because of a conflict
with Outlook, caused by me also installing Outlook with Business Contact
Manager (two outlooks running) which I thought would just upgrade the version
in Office 2007 I had to uninstall the programme and re-install Office 2003.

HELP! uninstall problems w/2002 office
trying to uninstall office 2002 pro small bus and reinstall as it is
corrupted itself somehow. It will not repair itself or completely uninstall
- after installing, word will no longer start excet in safe mode for me to
fix(???). Does the unstall remove the registry entries and the license info
to allow for a clean install?? If not, how can I remove them manually . .

How do I completely unistall Office 2007 Beta 2?
When trying to re-install Office 2007 Beta 2 - the setup immediately
generates an error after entring the activation key. The error is a popup
that says:
"An error occurred druing the installation and Microsoft Office Professional

Removal of POP3 account via PRF
Is there any way to delete a POP3 I_Mail account via PRF file import. I
have tried using the Custom Maintenence Wizard and saw an option to
remove Microsoft Mail and Lotus Notes services near the last few steps.

Is running the Office 2003 install program the same as a network install?
I want to copy the files from a CD Rom to the server to install a full
version of Office 2003. I do not want to do a network install becuase if the

Setup hangs on Student&Teacher 2003
